Founded in 1983, HAI Management, Inc. doing business as Humphrey Management manages communities throughout the mid-Atlantic area. Together with Karp-Humphrey LLC, our current portfolio consists of over 5,000 rental units representing over 80 properties.
We are a diversified, full-service management firm active in the management of affordable, conventional and tax credit communities. Our rental communities consist of both multifamily and elderly housing, some of which offer rental assistance.
Our Corporate Headquarters is located in Columbia, Maryland.
Management Philosophy
We have established our reputation through the "hands on" approach of our management team. Our clients look for long-term asset growth of their communities and have come to rely on our ability to perform our management services by providing both quality living standards for the residents and financial return on their investment.
The key to our success is in the development of our management team and systems. Training is a continuous program with our firm. Through our in-house seminars and industry educational programs such as Spectrum, Quadel and IREM, our staff is kept current on new regulatory issues as well as developing new processes to ensure our services are of the highest quality for the owners and residents.
