2009
We thank our employees, friends, and family members who participated in the annual American Cancer Society's 2009 Breast Cancer Walk on Sunday, October 25. Their generous donations exceeded our goal. We have raised over $3,600 this year!
HAND (Housing Association of Non Profit Developers) held their 5th Annual Children's Art Contest in March. The theme was "Mi Casa es Su Casa" (My House is Your House). There were two runners up from our communities: K. Phillips of Holly Lane Apartments and T. Hyman of Homes at the Glen. The participation, excitement, and creativity was wonderful. We are very proud of each of our participants. Thank you for your participation and congratulations.
Our 2nd annual day camp at Heritage Park kicks off! There are more than 75 children participating in a nine-week program from Monday through Friday that is comprised of weekly themes of fun filled, action packed learning activities. We have added a "Toddler and Me Parenting My Toddler" class section on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The kick off week is "Sports Safety and Exercise Importance" week. Children learn the fundamentals of various sports and the value of staying and excelling in school. We also celebrated with a company picnic in September with great food, games, and competition. The Humphrey company picnic was a fundraiser for Breast Cancer Awareness as the company donated $5 for everyone person who wore pink.
